Healing
When I started by mindsight journey I had no idea what was in store. I assumed there would be some meditation involved, and practice time, but I literally had no idea what to expect. I just knew I needed to be there and go through the process. I trusted in my instructors as they have more experience than I, and I trusted in my instincts and impressions indicating it’s the right thing to do. On the first day, I was noticing our lead instructor in conversation with individual students, then the students would either stand quietly or lie down on the rubber flooring in the gym while our instructor would be in deep concentration, wave his hands around (so to speak,) and in some way help the student. I had no idea what I was witnessing. After some observation, and overhearing conversations, I became aware that he was energetically working on the students, alieving physical or emotional issues. Energetic healing. #homeysaywhat?
After the five-day training, I went home and a thought came to me, if I can find objects energetically without using my eyes, can I detect energy signatures in another’s body? Having plenty of guinea pigs at home (a.k.a. my family,) I decided to try. Using the same detection techniques I lifted my hand, scanned, and felt some things that were “off.” For example, when someone had a cold, I can feel the infection in their lungs, particularly if it’s in the lower lungs, upper lungs, or some range therein. I can feel issues with the neck, ears, head. I can feel damaged muscles, sore tendons, and energetic anomalies, such as blockages, even detecting “good” vs. “bad” energies. Even then, I wondered, “Am I just waving my hands around? Is this doing any good?” My wife in particular would reassure me that she feels better when I would work through some of her issues, but I was still skeptical. Then interesting things started happening. When my wife was face down on a couch, working on her back, the instant I started up my qi flow she made a sound and indicated she felt tingling in her back right where my hand was pointed. Confirmation. In another instance when she was having an unproductive cough, I had her perform a breathing and physical motion while I did some energy activity on her lungs from behind. After the second try, her cough instantly changed and it became productive. Another confirmation. And so, this part of my journey starts.
My daughter was having issues with laryngitis so I worked on her throat a bit. I was looking at her energetically and noticed something odd in her lower back. I pushed some energy into her back and she immediately exclaimed that it didn’t hurt anymore and she could move freely. She didn’t tell me of the back pain to begin with.
Another was when I worked on my mom’s foot neuropathy in late Fall when it was cold. I could see a line across her legs just below the knees. I commented that she has old people legs. I worked on trying to reconnect / amplify the communication between her toes and knees, being inspired along the way on what to do. I found her right leg was more difficult and I was totally breaking a sweat. She said her feet were getting hot, all without any touching, just energy work.
One day my wife burnt her index finger with a hot glue gun, which resulted in a second-degree burn. A blister about the size of a pea formed on the tip of her finger. In pain, she came to me to see if there was anything I could do about it, so I tried my best. I was inspired to try to energetically connect her fingertips with her elbow, and after a few minutes she indicated the burning pain was gone. Really? That seemed a bit too incredible for me, but she insisted the pain was gone. A few hours later she complained about the pain again, so I tried again, once more energetically connecting the fingertips down to the elbow. With my eyes closed, I sensed something was wrong. I could see little sparks flying from her wrist, like the energy wasn’t connecting. I opened my eyes, and noticed her Fitbit on her wrist. After she removed it the sparks went away and the energy could flow again. Once again, she said the pain was gone. I didn’t think too much about it after that, but two days later I asked about her finger again. She had forgotten about it too! I guess a lack of pain will do that. Incredibly, her finger was barely more pink than normal. “No way!” I thought. Second-degree burns take about two weeks to heal. This healed completely in three days! Here’s the picture two days after the burn and there’s barely a mark. On the third day the mark was gone.
And now the “big one.” A friend of ours was having some major health issues. She had chronic shoulder pain, could barely move her arm without crippling pain, was taking major pain meds, and was getting cortisone shots. My wife told her about some of the things I’ve been able to do with healing her, so our friend came over one day for me to work on her. She had the largest negative energy bubble over 75% of her back that I was overly surprised at how bad it was. After 30 minutes of working, removing most of the energy bubble, I had to get back to work. She came back the next week and I worked on her again, this time focusing primarily on her shoulder, and whatever remained of the negative energy bubble. About another 30 minutes later and her shoulder was addressed and the negative energy resolved. She later let us know that after the second session, she had to cut down her medications in half as they were too powerful. She started getting back full range of motion in her arm, and she didn’t need the shots anymore. What was also interesting is during one of the working session, she was lying face down while I was pulling the negative energy out of her back and she commented that she felt like energy was spiraling out of her body. My wife and I looked at each other, knowing there was no other way she could tell, but that was exactly what I was doing at that moment.
These stories go on and on, but this gives enough information and confirmation to me that this is doing something and I’m not just waving my hands around.
Remote Viewing
I had a regular accountability / practice group where we would meet at least once a month, sometimes twice a month, and go through some practices. We had watched Caroline Corey’s Superhuman movie and we wanted to try one of the documented activities, remote viewing. One of the guys in the group had purchased some RV practice cards, which were random pictures of various objects. He selected four cards, discarding two, then picking one of the two cards to be the “target.” We cleared our minds and just let the information flow to us. Shapes, colors, feelings, and general impressions would come to us, we would write them down, then let the thought go. For example, in our first session I got a long rectangle, blue background, and yellow turning into white, along with some other attributes. (FYI, I often get impressions for the two last cards selected, more than the one target.) It turned out that image was of a rocket launching into space, with a blue sky, long rocket body, and orange/yellow fire turning into white smoke.
Wait, now that’s a thing??? OK, let’s see if it happens again.
The second go around, four new cards, down to two, down to one, and more thoughts coming to mind. As I often do see bits of each image, the “wrong” image in particular was very clear to me. I saw some type of tube, with large blobs on the tube, like planets connected by a wormhole tube going through each planet. The actual image was of a spiderweb with raindrops on the web.
On another evening, I was invited to attend a special healing session with a group of healers, who work in small teams, focusing their healing energy toward a single person. The healing energy was none other than love, but it was such an intense building up of energetic love that I hadn’t felt before. As we had so many participants, we split up into two groups and my group’s person to heal was 30 minutes away at home. During the session I had a quick glimpse of the person in my mind, as clear as day, but just a flash. After the session I had to ask the person’s son, “Does your dad have a red easy chair?” I saw him sitting in one. “Yeah, and he’s probably with his cat” was the response.
Remote viewing is one of the easiest disciplines to begin as the instructions are so simple. Clear your mind, document the incoming thoughts, and let them go. Do not try to name the target (analytical overlay,) just gather impressions. As soon as you name it, you’re likely wrong. Often, people struggle with the first step, which meditation can help.
Telekinesis
This too was in Superhuman, so… let’s try it! The same go-getter team member tried it out, found it worked, so we all got together one practice Saturday and tried it ourselves. Prep time: gather a glass container (vase, jar, etc.,) a styrofoam ball cut in half or a 2″ pencil eraser, a needle, and some aluminum foil. Put the needle in the ball / eraser, fold the foil and place it on the needle, place the whole thing under glass, and try to make the foil spin around without heat, wind, physical touch, or any other means, just your mind.
Well, my buddy can do it, so I can do it, was my thought. I went through a meditation before the practice, got on the call with the team, and we all went to work. After about 10 minutes my foil started to spin counter-clockwise, then clockwise, back and forth. It turned about 1/2 way around each way, about in sync with my breathing. I immediately jumped back (well, scootched back in my chair) from the contraption, and it was still turning. So, my physics mind went into gear, trying to eliminate any force that could be acting upon the foil. Heat source? No, it’s sitting on my desk without a heat lamp, sun exposure, or otherwise. Magnetic interaction? No magnets around or below the desk. Wind? No, any level of blowing on the vase resulted in nothing. Besides, how could it spin back and forth in tune with my breath? Bumping the desk? No, bumps make the foil teeter, not spin. I felt a connection between the foil movements and my brain, almost to the point of being uncomfortable. After some time, the connection went away and the foil stopped spinning. Well, that was weird. Once again, that’s a thing?
I practiced for a while, showing two of my kids individually how the foil can spin without any external Newtonian physics. I still don’t really understand how it works, but I can’t find a way to explain it other than intention is physical. However, I couldn’t find a practical reason for this activity, so I stopped practicing. Long afterwards, a friend encouraged me to continue practicing these “odd” skills as one day it may come in handy. That was the confirmation I needed that this is OK, and I should continue. You see, this conversation took place in our local temple.
The Power of Love
One day my elementary school child came home and let me know he needed to do something for the 5th grade science fair. I had heard plenty of stories of folk indicating we can influence and even infuse water with love or be influenced by specific pyramidal shapes, which can then be used to help plants grow, etc. I trusted these people, but still held onto my skepticism, so I suggested to my son we give this a try. I generated a 3D design of a Russian Pyramid, even buying a 3D printer as it was taking too long to run prototypes with the library’s printers. So, four glass cups, four 12-pod growing trays, and borrowing my daughter’s four light growing lamp, we went to work with the setup. Simple really, one glass of water as the control, another with love and grow stickers, one with a pyramid on top, and one with love/grow stickers and a pyramid. I fully expected this experiment to fail, but I was proved wrong. By a huge amount! It was undeniable, the love/pyramid water was the clear winner, with love alone being a very close second. Pyramid alone was a close third, and the control was far away dead last in terms of growth speed and size. It wasn’t even close. Sooooo…. love power is a thing, huh?
Take a look at the leaf size. Care to guess which one is the control? Check out the full report here.
This article is getting long, but I’ll wrap it up by saying all of these abilities are interconnected. They use the same source. Building upon one builds upon the others. Dowsing? Yep, did that with detecting my sprinkler system. Precognition? Yep, lot’s of examples there. Remote feeling? Come ask me about that at Phenomecon sometime. Detecting playing cards? Oh, yeah (just don’t use this for gambling, OK?) Start somewhere, and you’ll find the ability to branch out is very easy.
