Qigong Training
Discover and build your qi at our weekly qigong class held at the Daybreak Community Center (DCC) in South Jordan, UT. We will be covering the 5 Elements basics. Classes are held Saturday mornings from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM Mountain Time. Sign up at the front desk at the DCC.
This is a slow movement exercise that can get your heart pumping, energy flowing, yet still maintain a steady slow breath. We twist and stretch to activate and align our meridians, clearing blockages, and allow our natural energy to flow.

Student Resources
Please be sure to practice each form at least five times a week.
Things to check:
- Position. Go through the checkpoints to make sure your in the correct position. Remember, alignment matters and is the key to triggering an energetic response.
- Breath. Your breath initiates movement. Go with the flow of your breath. Try to keep your breath smooth and calm. Use the balloon breath (abdomen, middle chest, upper chest.)
- Spirit. Embrace the spirit of the animal, enhancing your energy development.
- Energy. Take note of how you feel going through the various exercises. Note the feeling in your fingers, hands, arms, core, legs, feet, etc. Each exercise focuses on a different meridian, which generates a different energy.
Here’s a fun song to, hopefully, motivate you to keep practicing
